1. About this policy

This policy explains how the website of the Harmonica Aficionados Society ("HAS", "we", "us"), a registered society in Singapore (Reg. No. S96SS0079E), handles your information, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. In short: this website collects personal data only if you choose to send us a message through the contact form. It has no accounts, no membership or application forms, and no tracking or advertising cookies. It does count visits anonymously (see section 4).

2. What this website collects

Nothing, unless you send us a message. You can read every page without giving us any personal detail. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type into it. We use them only to reply to you. The form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-handling service, which processes the message on our behalf. Please do not put sensitive details such as your NRIC in the message. If you message us on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok instead, that conversation takes place on that platform and is covered by its own privacy policy.

3. Membership and examinations

Membership applications are not made on this website. The membership registration form is a PDF that you download, fill in and give to our Secretary by email or in person. Examination arrangements are made with our examination coordinator in the same way. Any personal data you put on those forms is used only to process your membership or examination, and is shared only with the HAS committee members who need it. It is not sold or shared with advertisers.

4. Cookies and third-party services

HAS does not set cookies on this website and does not use advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits (for example, which pages are viewed and from which country). It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not identify individual visitors. Some content comes from other services: • Hosting: the site is hosted on Vercel, which, like any web host, keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. HAS does not use these logs to identify visitors. • Contact form messages are delivered through Web3Forms (see section 2). • Event photos and posters are served from Sanity's image network. • Event videos are YouTube videos. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play on a video, and then YouTube's own privacy policy applies. • Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other external sites are governed by those sites' own policies.

5. Your rights

If you have given HAS personal data, for example through the contact form or on a membership form, you may ask to see it, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Please speak to a committee member at any HAS session, or message us on our social media pages. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change how this website works, for example by adding a form, we will update this policy and its "Last updated" date. Please check back from time to time.
